Advisory Panel:

Currently, The NOLA Tree has secured commitments from a number of individuals to serve on its Advisory Panel (listed alphabetically):

Emily Carpenter, a high school junior at the School of the Future in New York City.  Emily attended her first volunteer program to New Orleans in July 2009, and spring 2010.

Juan Galan, a sophomore at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.  Juan has volunteered in New Orleans several times since 2007.

Patricia Galan, a junior at Mamaroneck High School. Patricia has volunteered in New Orleans for the last three years. She's also in charge of organizing the Midnight Run twice a year, an initiative to provide food and clothing to the homeless people in New York City.

Indiana Hoover, a musician and graduate from Hunter College in New York City.  Indy designed The NOLA Tree's website, and served as a chaperone on numerous volunteer trips to the lower ninth ward.

Joshua Lodge, A Junior at Mamaroneck High School. He volunteered in New Orleans for his first time in the summer of 2012. He's also currently taking care of all the web activity for The Nola Tree.

Joe Torczon, Director of Corporate Marketing at Scholastic Inc.  Joe was a chaperone on one of the July 2009 programs.  He is also a native of New Orleans.

Gregg Trueman, President, Humanize L.L.C., a digital media agency.  Gregg was a chaperone on one of the July 2010 programs. His daughter, Grace, volunteered in New Orleans during the summers of 2009 and 2010.
